How to Teach Writing, Spelling and Grammar

Presented by Dr Helen Walls and Dr Christine Braid, this self-led course supports primary and trainee teachers to strengthen writing instruction through practical, research-informed guidance. Learn how to teach handwriting, spelling, vocabulary, sentence structure and composition with greater confidence, and explore ways to integrate writing across the curriculum to build more capable, confident student writers.

Participants can choose the option that best suits their needs: course only, course and support book, individual access or team access. Each option is designed to support flexible, self-paced professional learning.

Online course - Enjoy flexible learning that fits your schedule. Work through modules at your own pace, with opportunities to discuss and reflect on the content and your professional practice. Identify areas for growth and use the accompanying support materials to build your knowledge.

Support book/s – Provide suggested further reading and act as a practical reference during the course and when applying learning afterwards.

Returns
