Emergency Science – Responding to Climate Change
The science behind Earth, air and water
From one perspective, this emergency seems too large, too complex and too far advanced to address. But this book offers a different perspective by addressing it step by step, with a range of questions. It shows how science - as a way of observing our world, drawing conclusions from the evidence and from there identifying actions to solve problems - is an integral part of the response to climate change.
The range of hands-on activities includes both experiments and tasks using class-based resources. Every activity specifies a learning objective and develops one or more key skills differentiated by what (beginners), how (developers) and why (experts).
