Patricia Kendell has worked in educational publishing for many years and most recently as an education officer with WWF. She is particularly interested in how young children learn and believes that most children (particularly those with learning or behavioural difficulties) benefit immensely from having access to the natural world, be it in the school grounds, local parks or more wild spaces.
Pat Hollingbery is a basic skills lecturer who has worked in further education for the past 10 years. She enjoys writing, with publications ranging from online resources to poetry books, and much of her free time is devoted to educational research, developing materials and studying.
